From first idea to start of production, Himmermann develops transmission components in cooperation with automotive customers. The purpose of the complex plastic components is to guarantee cooling of the transmission in tight installation space. In addition to that, a higher level of efficiency is achieved.

The essential element of the product spectrum is the development and production of complex oil-bearing systems for transmission applications. By means of injection moulding, individual parts are manufactured and assembled on part-specific assembly lines. Himmermann secures the high quality from purchasing to finished product by means of most modern test procedures and standardization as per ISO/TS 16949.

Water-bearing injection-moulded products are part of the liquid cooling of the motor and are responsible for its temperature regulation. Injection-moulded component parts are manufactured individually on injection moulding machines. After complete assembly with other purchased parts, these are tested with regard to complete function prior to shipment to the customers.

Himmermann develops, designs and produces gearshift systems for the automotive industry in cooperation with the affiliated firm Jopp GmbH. Customers worldwide are delivered with products ranging from injection-moulded individual parts to complete assemblies.

Visible interior parts like covers, trims and frames are manufactured with structured surface and under highest quality standards to be delivered to the automotive industry.
